"Repeat prescriptions"

About: General practices in Fife

(as a relative),

My partner has severe depression and anxiety as well as ADHD diagnosed. We have 2 children  and I work and look after my partner's affairs such as medication etc as he isn't able.

We have had problems with our surgery and prescriptions before. My partner receives medication which was on repeat. It has now been taken off repeat to get reviewed and why is this ?

I now have to rely on timing of the surgery to get his prescription right. This has caused stress for myself and partner. Why does it have to be taken off repeat?
