"Best thing was that I was always meeting same midwife"

First time i found out about my pregnancy was in November. Later i had my first appointment with midwife. She was very supportive and helpful. Next few months we met multiple times to check if everything was ok and i was still getting answers for every question i asked. Having someone who know what i am going through was great. I was slowly getting to my due date and sessions with midwife were changing every time. Always some new information and new tips and trick how to deal with late pregnancy.  It was getting harder and harder but midwife was always able to respond to my message. Few weeks before due date we made my birth plan.

Best thing was that i was always meeting same midwife through my pregnancy. This was really important to me. She even came for a brief time to delivery room wish me best luck during my labour which helped a lot with my mood.

After i gave birth to my beautiful daughter i got amazing care from all midwifes and student midwifes on midwifery unit. I cannot be more thankful for all help from all staff in hospital. Team Emerald continuity of midwifery care is the best. I definitely will be requesting same midwife or midwife from same team.
