"Appointment letter problems"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I have been trying to get a 72hr ecg done since last August (2023) we are not coming up to August 2024 and still no ecg completed. Due to 5 failed appointments due to letters not arriving. I have spoken to them specifically about this and they admitted it has been an issue with Royal Mail, and offered to call me when I'm rebooked. Well no call, and no help when chasing them up. Relieved a letter today to say I've failed to attend an appointment last week that I was never informed of. This makes it the 6th failed attempt to get the 72hr ecg done in a year, due to a failure to inform patients of appointments. Which can be done so simply by SMS, email or the NHS app which never seemed to e a problem at my former hospital.

I never usually write reviews but since this is about my cardiac health and considering I have a worsening heart condition really annoys me that something so simple seems impossible to out.
