"I was told I was making it up after an overdose"

About: Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust / Crisis resolution and home treatment team The Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was taken to A&E one thursday after I told my doctor I was feeling suicidal, the woman I saw was ok she said if I didn't talk to her and left then she would call the police so I talked (I find it extremely hard to talk), after that I was allowed to go home because I said I was safe (a lie).

I was then taken again on the tuesday after by my bf's dad because I took an OD, the nurses in A&E were so nice, makin sure I was ok and if I felt sick they came and talked to me. When I saw a member of the crisis team they were so horrible, firstly by sayin they didn't know why I'd come in (erm...OD) and that I was makin it up. I told them I would do it again and they just let me go home.

I am so upset and feel like no one took me seriously about the suicide attempts and threats.
