"A very streamlined process"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I damaged my knee and had to attend A and E.

Although there was a little bit of a wait for both triage and to see the nurse practitioner the whole process was very streamlined, resulting in an X Ray, a plan of action and the provision of a pair of crutches. I felt reassured and treated with the highest respect.

Dear Lori24

Thank you for taking the time to post your positive feedback following your recent visit to the department.

I am sorry for your initial wait. Our departments are under extreme pressure, and the teams work hard to ensure patients are seen as safely and quickly as possible.

I am pleased you felt respected and were reassured by the ENP who reviewed you in the department. I will ensure your kind words are shared with them.

Wishing you an ongoing speedy recovery.

with best regards

Robert
