"My recent operation"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Urology

(as the patient),

I attended Knapp ward at the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital yesterday for a bladder procedure. From the very first contact I was made to feel welcome and important.

Every member of staff were wonderful in the way they treated me and the other patients on my ward. Some patients were elderly and quite difficult but the staff remained professional and courteous in trying situations. I would like to thank everybody from the receptionist through to the surgeon for making a very difficult experience easy to manage for me.

Although the NHS is under great pressure at the moment it is a testament to the staff I met yesterday that they continue to give a great service to the public in a cheery and professional manner. Thank you and bless you all.
