"My stroke"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / General medicine

(as the patient),

I had a mild stroke in May 2024. My wife called. 111, they spoke to me then called the ambulance, it arrived quickly and I was taken to the QMC hospital straight to the stroke unit.

They admitted me but as it was a mild stroke I was discharged the following day. Then the calls started, the following day the stroke people started to visit, all done very quickly.

I was very impressed and pleased for the advice given.
