During an evening towards the end of July I had cause to visit your A&E department following a long bout of angina discomfort. I was accompanied by my wife..

I am writing this following the visit to express my - indeed, our - thanks to your very positive and caring staff. In particular, Dr. Chavarin (an American) who attended to me.

He was very professional, and his ‘bedside manner’ promoted confidence in his abilities. At the same time, also being most interesting to talk to – he was a fellow musician, which I think helped too!

His advice was sound, and he was very reassuring, making the whole experience much more positive than it might otherwise had been.
