"Extremely disappointed"

About: West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital (Yorkhill) / Lymphoedema Service

(as a service user),

3years on I am still waiting on light coloured/toeless compression stockings as ones I have are not suitable for warmer weather. Most recent appointment/review in summer 2023 advised swelling has worsened and now had cellulitis on 2 occasions.

Several failed contacts/messages. Received a call last week advising it would be investigated and I would receive an update Monday morning. It is now Wednesday and still waiting!

Several pairs of burst shoes later, worry an area is likely to breakdown, difficulty with clothing as well as people staring and asking why leg/foot are swollen. I can’t express the upset and distress this is causing.

I have no confidence in this person’s ability in their role. I am extremely disappointed and appalled at the poor service.
