"Job very well done, Thank you!"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Fracture Liaison Clinic Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General surgery Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedic Ward B23

(as the patient),

I broke my ankle & had to have surgery 7 weeks ago, I was taken to Forth Valley Hospital near Larbert.

I came back to see Dr Dariuz & he checked my ankle & told me to start taking my weight on it, after having to hop using my left leg & having to use a zimmer frame, not being allowed to put any weight on my right ankle for 7 weeks, this is now progress.

At the Fracture Clinic, after seeing Dr Dariuz, I saw a lovely nurse called Shindy whose job was to measure me for crutches, but we decided crutches were not a good idea for me.

Shindy was an Angel to me, she put a new dressing on my ankle where my stitches were taken out previously & she gave me a new boot to go home with.

Job very well done, Thank you!

Dear pagerft68

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your story about the care you have received regarding your broken ankle.

It is always lovely to read such wonderful feedback regarding our services. Staff will be delighted to hear such positive feedback and I know Shindy will be delighted to hear that she is an Angel, which is so lovely to read.

I hope you are recovering well and wish you all the best.

Kind Regards

Caroline
