I approached NHS Tayside Podiatry about two of my toe nails which had become badly damaged through a persistent fungal infection, exacerbated by regular running.
I met a lovely podiatrist in Broughty Ferry who talked me through the options, one of which was the removal of the nails. She did explain alternatives though and allowed me to make an informed decision.
I went back for my appointment a few weeks later, again to Broughty Ferry. The two podiatrists were excellent, especially the young man who performed the nail surgery.
They both put me at ease despite me not entirely looking forward to the procedure!, chatted to me throughout and explained all the after-care processes.
"The two podiatrists were excellent"
