"Great care and kindness"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Day Surgery Unit (K south)

(as a service user),

Having had a serious illness, although now recovered, When I have to attend hospital for any procedures I now have a high level of anxiety.  Recently I attended K/S at IRH, medical day unit for an IV infusion.

From the moment I arrived on the ward I was greeted with a warm smile. Both of the nurses looking after me were very professional and put me at ease . Both took time in making sure I was comfortable and engaged in conversation which helped me to relax and instantly feel that I was in good hands.  The procedure was carried out quickly and effectively.  

A special thanks to Lynne and Paula for doing their job so well , nurses like you both are a credit to the NHS.  Well done.
