I had my fourth bladder resection (TURBT) at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in mid-June and although it is not the first time I have had this procedure done, this one was tough for me because my cancer is progressing.
I would like to thank all of the staff who were involved in my care. Thanks to all of the teams, from ambulatory, anaesthesiology, urology, pre operative, surgical, post operative recovery and any team I may have missed.
I'm the interests of confidentiality I obviously cannot name anyone, but would like to reach out and thank all involved, if this message could be passed on to all involved those two days I would be grateful. I would also like to thank the nurse who recognised me today in the restaurant following my return appointment for my stent removal, and took the time to ask after me.
I'm the one with the pink hair (pink in support of Young Lives vs Cancer charity) for those who will remember me.
You are all amazing people. ❤️
"Thank you to an amazing team of people"
