"A positive, stress-free experience"

I received a referral to ENT and had a very positive, stress-free experience from start to finish. Mickey checked me in for my appointment with Mr. Zygan and reassured me about the visit. Both he and the staff nurse, Debbie, were kind and comforting. One of my biggest fears is having something put down my throat, but everyone, including a professional student, was very understanding., not to mention, patient.

I was taken to the 'hub' for a quick nasal test. Mr. Zygan explained the benefits of using local anesthetic, but to my surprise, we opted not to use it. The procedure was painless and over in a few minutes. He then referred me to radiology for a barium swallow test, where I again had an extremely positive experience. Mark explained each step of the process and introduced me to the radiologist, which put my nerves at ease as I had no idea what to expect.

Overall, my experience with ENT, including the test with radiology, was seamless and reassuring. I cannot thank or praise them enough.

Recently I have had a lot of experience as a patient in the Western Trust, and all of it has been positive and reassuring.
