"My experience at hospital"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery University Hospital Wishaw / Endoscopy University Hospital Wishaw / Medical Oncology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer  about 8months ago by a brilliant consultant, Mr Kasem. My whole experience - from the operation, to removing the tumour, till today - has been excellent. From the wards to my recovery process , with special mention to Endoscopy Team , the Nurses in the wards and the team of upper GI nurses (Lorna, Katie , Michelle, Louise).   Also the dietitians (Louise, and Hannah ). I have been treated with respect, kindness and compassionate care. I still have months of recovery to come, many, many thanks to you all for everything   And for a special thanks to Christine in Endoscopy day surgery for being so kind and supportive and friendly. God Bless the NHS
