"Help for my terminally ill father"

About: Urgent Community Response / Mid Notts Urgent Community Response Team

(as a relative),

I telephoned the single point of access at 8 am on Monday morning. My father's condition had deteriorated and even with the help of his stairlift he was unable to get upstairs to sleep.

I was called back and advised that the urgent response team would visit us that day.

Dena and Gemma visited in the afternoon and were beyond exceptional. Compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient.

They listened to our concerns and by 8 pm we had a whole package of equipment in place to enable my father to safely and comfortably remain in his own home.

I shall be eternally grateful to these ladies for their empathy and swift action, without it my dad would undoubtedly have ended up in hospital for his last days, which was absolutely not what he wanted.

A thoroughly excellent service. Thank you so much

Thank you so much for your kind feedback about the UCR service We're glad we were able to provide your dad with the care he needed, when he needed it.

We will pass on your kind words to Gemma and Dena.

Many thanks,

Emma (Team Lead - UCR)
