"The atmosphere of care and compassion was second to none"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I had a robotic assisted gastric bypass at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) in July 2024 and was put to ward 207 for my recovery.

The staff on the ward were absolutely amazing, always took the time to say hello and check how I was doing.

The atmosphere of care and compassion was second to none, despite facing some fraught situations with other patients!

Dear Haygq39

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay in ward 207.

I am glad that you found the atmosphere to be caring and compassionate.

I will share your feedback with the team, it will mean a lot to them to have their hard work recognised.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks again

Fiona Carnegie
