"I have had zero feedback"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as a parent/guardian),

I complained to a senior member of staff regarding a situation that arose the previous day, and despite the automated email advising a response within 48 hours and a follow up email from me seeking a response, I have had zero feedback.

I feel this is entirely unacceptable and do not feel this practice is meeting the needs of the local community.

Dear CT1974,

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your GP Practice.

I am sorry to hear that you have not heard any response in relation to the concerns you have raised to a senior member of staff.

Unfortunately GPs are independent contractors and are not registered to respond on Care Opinion. They are responsible for investigating any feedback or concerns raised about their service. Please could I ask that you contact the practice manager so they can investigate your concerns and provide a direct response?

Kind Regards

Jenni

Many thanks for your feedback

Unfortunately I have already tried to email the Practice Manager prior to this Care Opinion with no response.

Is there another body I can raise my complaint to that covers GP practices?

Dear CT1974,

Unfortunately it should be the Practice Manager who is dealing with your complaint. I have provided below the details for the Patient Affairs Primary Care Team who can provide further advice around this.

PatientAffairs.PrimaryCare@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk

Tel no: 01698 752800 Option 2.

I hope you are able to get some answers soon.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
