About: Antrim Area Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as a service user),

I was in for a Day Case Surgery but due to staff concerns they kept me in overnight.

Everyone I encountered in the Day Surgery Unit and the Elective Surgical Unit where so friendly and helpful. The care could not be faulted from everyone I encountered.

Everything was explained in great detail before it took place, I was treated with such dignity and respect throughout my hospital stay!

My name is Annette Shaw and I am the manager of the day surgery unit,I am delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience when you were in the unit and I will pass on your kind words to the staff.

Sorry to hear that you had to stay overnight but the staff in the surgical elective unit are brilliant also.
