My mother is elderly and in her 80's. Unfortunately she has partial sightedness and tore her skin on her leg when closing the door as she was reading recipes with her other good eye and did not get out the way. She is on blood thinner so bleeds easily. It was a 2 inch cut and I cleaned the wound and put iodine on it and a bandage and then we went to Minor Injuries on Sunday without an appointment and again on Tuesday for change of band.
The hospital staff were professional and very nice to my mother and they are very busy. For the NHS trust that runs this facility please do not take this away from Deal as many of us including myself pay our taxes and the town is growing rapidly and needs to keep public services rather than keep losing them that has been the the case for many decades.
Thank You to the staff that dealt with my mother and both of us appreciated your help and support and care.
Kind Regards
"Valuable local facility for a growing and very…"
