Today was my forth trip. Three from Londonderry to Coleraine and one from Londonderry to Castlerock (Christmas)
Christmas was special with presents, food and entertainment, also the ukulele U3A Foyle entertained on the train (outwards and inwards). All four trips today we also had entertainment by the Causeway Shantymen at the 1st Coleraine Scout Troop. Tea and sandwiches were served. Many people were dancing and singing with the entertainers. A really good, feel good day, as were all four trips.
At the Waterside Railway Station we were entertained by the Lilliput Choir and the U3A Folk Group, was great to see smiles on all faces.
One small problem, the walk from the Coleraine Station to the Scout Hall was a little long, especially for people on sticks etc.
Also the Lilliput Choir could have started a little earlier, as when the train was boarding the choir were left sining to only a few people.
"A really good day with smiles on all faces."
