"Person-centred and kind"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency

(as a service user),

I attended the emergency department with Chest pain and had initial investigations done and was then transferred to RACU.

I was met by very kind staff who put me at ease. I was seen by a very professional ANP - Linda -  who was thorough and explained everything I needed to know.

My stressful journey was made so comfortable by the team, and I was sent home the same day with the reassurance that I had no immediate life threatening illness.

It all felt safe and person-centred and I am very thankful to the entire team across the ED and RACU.

Dear Suz217,

Thank you for taking the time to offer such positive feedback following your recent visit to the Emergency Department. Whilst we understand it is a stressful time attending hospital it is heartening to hear that you felt safe and cared for during this time.

I hope you are continuing to recover well at home.

Regards
