"The community postnatal care has been excellent"

Attended for my 8 week postnatal check up at the GP surgery for both myself and my 8 week old little boy including his first vaccinations.

Prior to the appointment I received a phone call from Dr Conroy. This was to discuss how I was feeling as she explained that the in person appointment can focus a lot on baby, I found this very helpful to discuss labour and delivery and any issues I currently had. 

I was also very impressed with the in person appointment, Dr Hogg was so welcoming and kind. He took time to discuss my labour even though I had chatted previously about this. He explained everything so well and completed a full top to toe check of my baby while also answering any questions we had. He made us feel at ease, and was sensitive to all of our needs. The community postnatal care has been excellent.
