"Excellent care for Breast surgery"

I was under the most exceptional, warm Consultant Surgeon Ms Cox who operated on me  for removal of Pre cancer cells, within a very short space of time.

She was so informative and made me so aware of each step including a drawing of the planned surgery. She came to see me after the  surgery and informed me of the successful surgery with a sweet smile and consideration.

Her Registrar, Dr. Kenny was very considerate, listening and  acknowledging my deliberations with kindness.

The Anesthetist Dr Melvin put me at ease and reassured me, talking about family values which made me confident to be under his care, as he also aided brilliant sleep throughout the surgery.

In all, the nursing care given at Maidstone Hospitals was second to none, from having the mammogram, to be diagnosed with Pre cancer cells  and to having surgery, the nursing staff showed excellent interpersonal skills, combined with knowledge and warmth.

The speed at which each appointment took place was extremely fast, considering the NHS was severely challenged.
