"Kind & compassionate care"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 3 South Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was admitted to 3 South for emergency surgery after a long wait in severe pain in ED, and was met with such care & compassion on the ward it was a breath of fresh air.

The admitting nurse was kind, helped manage my pain & got me settled.

The following day every member of staff we encountered from the deputy sister, staff nurses, HCA's and domestic staff were all so friendly and the care they provided was excellent! They kept me informed, administered analgesia as required, continuously checked on me, and made me feel safe in a place I had never been before.

I wish I could remember names to thank people individually, but honestly I didn't meet one person that wasn't friendly or didn't have a smile on their face, so please keep doing what you're doing!
