"Thank you to each and every person who cared for my son."

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Blossom Ward (Paediatrics) Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Radiography services / X-ray Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended the Emergency Department (ED) recently with my toddler after a tumble at home. I phoned the phone first service and was advised to take him to ED.

Once we arrived we were very well looked after from everyone who seen my son. From one of the sisters giving him an ice lolly to the guys in radiology who done his X-ray.

The doctor was full of chat and made me feel so at ease despite my son having a fractured humerus.

Special mention to nurses Kyle and Sophie who put my sons cast on and had him in great spirits the whole time chatting away to him.

Everyone was so professional despite the massive pressures this hospital is clearly facing. Thank you to each and every person who cared for my son.

Hello

Thank you so much for taking the time to post such lovely comments about the service and staff within ED CAH.

I am delighted that you and your son had a very positive experience in ED and in the ED x-ray department. I am glad that everyone treated your son and yourself with professionalism, compassion and care especially at such a traumatic time for your son and yourself.

I will pass your lovely comments onto the ED radiographers and I know they will appreciate them. We work in a very busy environment and at all times strive to deliver high quality, compassionate care.

From all the x-ray staff we wish your son a speedy recovery and thank you again for your very kind comments.
