"The staff are absolutely priceless!"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I attended initially as a day patient for a scheduled umbilical hernia repair and was expecting to be home that night. However, me being me, I like to complicate things and as I couldn't pass urine post anaesthetic I had to stay overnight.

I just wanted to say that the staff who work in the day surgery unit at QMH in Dunfermline are absolutely priceless! What a bunch of caring, sensitive, people. I was treated with dignity and respect and was checked on frequently throughout my stay and nobody seemed put out by any request.

I know people don't want praise for doing their everyday job but  people such as Kristin, Rebecca, Hayley and the team (sorry I can't remember all the names) should be proud of themselves. Even with the two staff members on during the night I was well taken care of, thank you.

Dear Grayp1108,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your lovely feedback regarding your recent admission with us.

I am delighted that you found all the staff involved in your care to be caring and that you felt you were treated with dignity and respect.

I will ensure that your comments are passed on to Kirstin, Hayley and Rebecca in particular who I'm sure will be happy to hear that they contributed to making your stay a pleasant one.

Hope your recovering well.

Best Wishes, Nicolle & the Day Surgery Team
