"Eternal gratitude to you all"

About: North Devon District Hospital / General surgery North Devon District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I attended the Jubilee Ward at the North Devon District Hospital, Barnstaple to have hip replacement surgery. I felt a little apprehensive, this soon subsided as I received excellent care prior to my operation.

The anaesthetist Nigel explained everything about the procedure to me and was very reassuring. The consultant surgeon Mr Sim visited prior to surgery he was also very professional and reassuring. 

In the anaesthetist room with Nigel and Caroline I couldn't of wished for anyone better to be there for support throughout my surgery.

Mr Sim and his team were exemplary on that day and I want to say a heart felt thank you for giving me mobility back and the chance to enjoy the rest of my life.
