"Excellent care by all"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Outpatients

(as the patient),

My appointment was at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre (PEOC) outpatients department at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with Dr Waterson.

I arrived early, and was welcomed by a lovely healthcare assistant called Gemma, who accompanied me for an X-ray of my knee.

After my X-ray I waited no more than 10 minutes to be taken to see Dr . Waterson. During this time the sister of the department called Clarice came to explain to me about some work that was going to be happening in the next hour and to be aware that some staff might be rushing around more than normal, but to not worry about it.

On seeing Dr Waterson I was made to feel at ease, informed of what the next step of my treatment would be. I left my appointment well informed, happy and all this within 35 minutes, excellent care by all .

Thank you for the positive feedback Tiney67. I will pass on your feedback to my colleagues. I am glad you have had a positive experience on your visit to PEOC outpatients.
