Had to call 999 for my husband who was admitted with emergency surgery for appendix. Procedure more complicated due to appendix rupturing hernia.
Returned home after eleven days with antibiotics and recovery was going well.
Not long after, one of keyhole surgery burst open, phoned 111 & after that nurses conducted daily home visits to clean, measure, pack and redress the wound.
The NHS District & Nightingale nurses have completed amazing work, well done to everyone and thank you.
