"Treatment in Bovey ward"

About: Community Services - Eastern / Speech and Language Therapy Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Healthcare for Older People

(as the patient),

I recently had to spend two nights as a patient in the RD&E Hospital, Wonford and I would just like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff on A +E and Bovey ward for the care and kindness they showed me.

In particular I should mention the efforts of Amy from speech and language team, Hawra - dietician, and staff nurse Maria to whom I am greatly indebted, but I know that there were many more who were more routinely involved in providing the service.

The NHS may sometimes be taken for granted: it's only when you personally need it's help that you realise what a great service it is and see the dedication of it's staff.

Thank you to all NHS workers.

Good afternoon Charles,

Thank you for your kind and positive feedback. We will ensure we feed this back to A&E, Bovey Ward, SLT and the Dietician team. I am glad to hear your experience of Bovey Ward was a positive experience.

Best wishes,

Dear Mr Dickens

Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy writing schedule to provide this lovely feedback. I'm afraid my response won't be up to your standard!

It's incredibly satisfying when people have a positive experience of our services - it's why we all do what we do. I've passed your comments on to Amy who has shared them with Hawra, they were very pleased!

Thank you again, and I trust you have made a good recovery.

With very best wishes,
