"Professional, encouraging and very helpful"

About: Victoria Hospital / Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

I had a stroke a few weeks ago  which paralysed my left hand side. Scott my OT and the rest of the team Louise, Alex and Kirsty have been great with me encouraging me to try different exercises, taking me to the gym once or twice a day.  I have now gained mobility in my leg and can walk unaided.  Their support has been great and i would not have achieved this without them. I believe this is only the start of my improvements and i hope to continue my journey with them as they are professional, encouraging  and very helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to complete such positive feedback on the therapy you received while being an inpatient in the Victoria Hospital. I will ensure this is passed on to all of the team.

We wish you continued success with your recovery.
