"No work friendly appointments "

About: Three Villages Medical Practice

During COVID the service was amazing, I got appointments when other surgeries were not offering F2F appointments The doctors and nurses provide a great service, it is just a shame they do not offer appointments that accommodate people who work. I work 8am to 4pm and am only offered telephone appointments during my working day which I am unable to do.

I rang to book a medication review, I was offered days when I am working, so I asked for an appointment the week of my annual leave to be told we do not book that far in advance and I was advised to call back the following week. I duly called back as advised only to be offered an appointment during my working day, two weeks after my annual leave.

The receptionist said 'surely you can take a phone call at work', not everyone works in a role where this is possible. I have been told I will not be able to order my one medication until I have had a medication review - I have been trying to book this for about 6 months to no avail.

Please make appointments more patient and work friendly.

Thank you very much for taking your time to leave feedback on the practice, we are sorry to hear it has not been a positive experience. We try our best to accommodate all of our patients but appreciate we cannot always meet the demand. Your feedback will be shared with the Practice Staff.
