During COVID the service was amazing, I got appointments when other surgeries were not offering F2F appointments The doctors and nurses provide a great service, it is just a shame they do not offer appointments that accommodate people who work. I work 8am to 4pm and am only offered telephone appointments during my working day which I am unable to do.
I rang to book a medication review, I was offered days when I am working, so I asked for an appointment the week of my annual leave to be told we do not book that far in advance and I was advised to call back the following week. I duly called back as advised only to be offered an appointment during my working day, two weeks after my annual leave.
The receptionist said 'surely you can take a phone call at work', not everyone works in a role where this is possible. I have been told I will not be able to order my one medication until I have had a medication review - I have been trying to book this for about 6 months to no avail.
Please make appointments more patient and work friendly.
