My mum had a fall recently and was transferred from Craigavon to rehab in daisy Hill.
Having been previously fiercely independent she found hospital routines daunting and quite unfriendly.
She needn't have worried because all staff from the ladies with a cuppa - Mary was always on call - to the night staff - you all were great - accommodating her late night routine, to the health care assistants helping her with her pastoral needs. Brian thanks it meant a lot to mum....physio/OT team Orla, tom to name a few.
They have the most gruelling tasks pushing past all the barriers...in fact everyone from band 6 Sharon/Moya, to the nurses, to the care assistants, to the students to the domestic staff were fantastic.
Thanks for caring for mum when she was at her lowest and allowing and advising us to help with her recovery...for making transition to home so smooth and setting everything up with no difficulty...you may do it every day but made us feel that wee bit special...we can't thank you enough.
