"The most fantastic experience"

About: Lurgan Hospital / Rapid Access Clinic

(as a carer),

My father visited the R.A.C in lurgan hospital and had the most fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, professional and courteous. Particularly the auxiliary Wendy, nurse Methos and Dr Houston. We were made feel so welcome and cared for.

The staff were patient, took their time with my dad - who is in his 80s - and were so understanding.

We were able to access the wonderful OT who was able to refer us on to ICT to assess dad at home.

It was amazing to be able to get various tests and X-rays and the results all within the one appointment.

An excellent all round experience and service we would highly recommend.

I am so delighted and reassured to hear that your Father's experience was a pleasant one.

I agree that the RAC in Lurgan is a great service and acts as a 'one stop shop' for our older people to have a full assessment and completion of tests and results on the same day.

I hope your father remains well and I will be sure to share your feedback with the staff.
