"You went above and beyond for us"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Maternity care Maternity care / Ward 45 ( antenatal) Maternity care / Ward 46 (post-natal) Maternity care / Ward 48 (labour ward) Western Health & Social Care Trust / Community Midwifery Services

(as the patient),

I was brought in for induction and ended up with emergency section.

The staff from antenatal, Labour ward & postnatal where incredible.

The care we received was impeccable from start to finish myself my baby and even my partner. The girls in antenatal are ladies, Maria, Barbara & Dierdre looked after me nothing was a problem and I was made feel at ease throughout.

I was taken to labour ward & looked after by midwife Louise, an incredible midwife/lady, thank you Louise for everything. Specialist registrar Yosef, sister Brenda, the midwifes in recovery Joanne & Janine all the team in theatre & labour ward you are earth angels, you guys needs more recognition, we are blown away at just how amazing you all are. Yosef an incredible man, your manner & professionalism is next to none.

I was made to feel safe I was kept so well informed from start to finish by the entire team in labour and theatre, I felt there wasn't anything that I wasn't informed about throughout...no stone unturned, I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

When I was brought to postnatal I was cared for by midwife Megan, what a beautiful bubbly soul and a brilliant midwife, Laura & Rachel also thank you for everything. Lastly we would also like to express our sincere thanks to midwife Natasha, totally blown away by everything, you went above and beyond for us, there are no words for just how much of an amazing midwife/lady you are we never would have got through it without you.

Thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts, we've had the most amazing experience/care right across the board - from community midwives to scanning appointments with Dr Lavery, another incredible doctor, honestly thank you all.
