"Blood tests not available at this practice"

About: Loddon Vale Practice

I am not happy about travelling for blood tests. I am a full time carer for elderly parents, plus have a 7 year old grand daughter living with me. I do not have the time or money to travel to Bracknell or RBH. I can walk to surgery in 10 mins. As a cancer patient my husband is able to have blood tests so there are nurses to do it. I guess refusing to travel will mean my meds wont be prescribed without a test.

Blood tests are avilable at the practice every day, due to very high demand of blood tests we need to ask patients who are able to go to Bracknell or the RBH, this way we can make sure our elderly and cancer patients can have their tests done here at the practice. We do try very our best to fit patients in where we can but there are some days when this is just not possible, I am sure if you explain your circumstances and are flexible the team would do their best to accomodate you.
