Upon arriving at Wishaw Hospital I have felt well cared for from the get go. My husband and I arrived in a panic and immediately felt reassured with the staff on hand. Any concerns or questions we have had have been answered. The midwifes who cared for me during delivery were amazing at keeping me motivated and ensuring us all (birthing partners included) were looked after.
Once our baby boy was born we were required to stay in the post natal ward for a few days while his jaundice was dealt with. Again the staff on this ward have been amazing. There's always someone on hand to help and give advice on not just baby, but help on how to adjust to being new parents.
Part of the staff are university students, they are all very enthusiastic and competent at what they do. They are super helpful and attentive.
I genuinely feel like everyone on staff cares.
