"Thank you for kindness shown during my wife's recent procedure 😊"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Cardiology Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as a relative),

My wife went to DGRI to have a pacemaker fitted, unfortunately she became very unwell with her gallbladder infection and they had to put a drain in & a bag for it to drain into.

My wife was in & out of hospital 4 times over a period of 10 weeks, we would like to thank all staff @ DGRI for their care and support during this difficult period.

After the gallbladder drain was removed & all infections were cleared up, my wife was called back to have her pacemaker fitted by Doctor Fersia & is making a slow recovery @ home. Once again thanks to Doctors, Nurses & all other staff.

Dear George462,

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback with us following your wife's experience. I was pleased to read that following your wife becoming unwell she received a positive care experience and was well supported during her admissions.

I was also pleased to read that your wife was recalled to have her pacemaker fitted and is recovering well. I will be sure to share this feedback with the departments concerned as I know they will appreciate your kind words.

Kind regards

Jamie
