"Cancelled appointment"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurology (Ward 53 and 67)

(as the patient),

Appointment for nerve block cancelled.  Told I would receive new appointment. It is now four weeks since I was told it was cancelled and three since appointment should have taken place and have not even received a new appointment, nevermind actually having the appointment. This is very frustrating when it is a treatment you are supposed to have every three to four months and with every week delay the pain you suffer with increases.

Apologies you have not received a further appointment, I appreciate the frustration and delay you have had with your treatment.

Can you confirm the department you were attending or consultant or clinical nurse specialist you are under and I can look into this for you

Kind Regards,

Helena Richmond

Lead Nurse

It is the Neurology Headache Clinic at QEUH, it is specialist nurses that do the nerve blocks.
