I took my son to the practice beacuse he was coughing and vomiting the night before. The healthcare professional that saw my son asked me if he had any fever. I said he didn't. Then he asked me what time I gave him calpol. I said I didn't. He then said "you said he had a fever" I said no. I checked his temperature last night and it was normal. He said to me" I don't think you checked his temperature" as if I am lying to him. I may have mixed 'this morning' and 'last night' as my son was ill during the night time(2am) and I was so exhausted from lack of sleep but it was very unprofessional of him to suggest I was lying. I have seen this person quite a few times previously when my kids were ill and he was not helpful at all. He doesn't even want to listen. He wants to rush us out the door every single time but today's interaction was my last straw.
