About: South West Acute Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I cannot thank the staff enough for their assistance and support in the maternity and labour ward, in particular Ann and Carmel.

Ann was with me the whole way through my labour and she was so professional. She explained everything and kept us informed on how my labour was progressing. We knew we were in good hands.

As we moved to the maternity ward, Carmel was so hands on in helping with feeding, changing and winding the baby. As first time parents we really appreciated the help and tips she gave us. All the staff we came across during our stay at SWAH were exceptional.

The care I received was second to none and I felt so at ease from start to finish. Thanks for such a positive birthing experience!

Congratulation Yvofe39 on the birth of your baby. It is so kind of you to take the time from what must be a busy home life at present, to take the time to write about your care and experience. All feedback is so important to us. This positive feedback is very much appreciated and I will ensure that this is passed on to Ann and Carmel who are a credit to our team.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby. Thank you for taking the time to write such lovely and positive feedback in relation to the care you received in the maternity unit in the SWAH.

It is always lovely to hear that the care you received was so professional and supportive. As first time parents it can be overwhelming but I am delighted you felt you were supported by the staff. I have passed on your kind words to Carmel and Ann but also to the wider team.
