About: Rapid Response Teams / Rapid response team Derry/ Londonderry

(as a service user),

I was referred to Rapid Response Unit Gransha Park to receive IV antibiotics twice daily after discharge from 7 days in hospital.

The team at Rapid Response were amazing.

Caring, patient and supportive, making feeling unwell that much better, allowing me to be at home.

They seem to have a great team all doing their jobs in a supportive and caring environment allowing patients to stay out of hospital.

Nothing was a bother and their professionalism and caring manner was a credit.

Going forward, new equipment would help them carry out their excellent care to more patients.

My name is Tina McCauley and I am clinical coordinator with the rapid response team in Derry.

Firstly,I would like to thank you for taking the time to post feedback on our service. I am really happy that we were able to support your early discharge from hospital and continue with your IV treatment pathway in a community setting.

I haven't had the opportunity to share your post with all the team, however, I know they will be really pleased by your thoughtful, positive and perceptive words. I am so glad that your experience with us was positive, and that you felt supported and cared for when you were unwell.

I absolutely take on board what you advise about new equipment,I have already priced new blood pressure monitors.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback on the team and the service we deliver.
