"Unprofessional staff"

About: Queen Marys Hospital (Sidcup)

A family member had an appt with an out of hours doctor as advised by 111, they were seen in triage and the nurse was annoyed they were there as apparently they were fine, and did not need help. They were later taken to hospital with a serious lung infection. Appauling treatment and will not be returning

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, all feedback is welcomed and we use it to improve our service.

I am sorry that your relative's visit to the Urgent Treatment Centre was not a positive one when they attended. We do have a certain level of professionalism that we expect from all our staff and please extend our apologies if your relative felt they did not receive this.

If they would like to contact me directly with more details I will be happy to investigate further. Unfortunately I will not be able to discuss the consultation with anybody else due to confidentiality reasons.

Once again please accept my apologies and I do hope they are now recovering.

Kind Regards

Sue Hopkins
