"An excellent service"

About: Adult Health Services / Physiotherapy

(as a carer),

Our experience with the Physiotherapy and OT services of the Centre for Independent Living been excellent. My wife suffered a broken hip from a fall and has since been diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy with limited motor control.

Her discharge from hospital was facilitated by the aforementioned personnel. We found that liaison with acute services was sound and equipment was installed at the right time in spite of changes in discharge time, follow up was appropriate and appointments were kept on time.

Advice was friendly and helpful and equipment which was provided was exactly what was needed. Access is always available.

We consider this to be an excellent service.

Hi, my name is Anne Marie Reid and I am RES Co-Team Lead for the physio on the team you've given your kind feedback for. Thank you for taking the time to fill this in, it's great to hear that you've had a really positive experience and I will pass on your kind words to the PT & OT Team involved, who will really appreciate this. Many thanks again and best wishes for the future.
