Last February, I had a heart attack ,3 cardiac arrests ended up in hospital, they done vascular surgery on my left leg. I can't thank the hospital staff enough, even though I was cranky at times they treated me with love and care.
When I was discharged I was placed under the care of a physiotherapist and community nurses who looked after me twice a week home visits, cannot fault these ladies as they done a fantastic job cleaning my wound, and the physio was doing great with my exercises and getting fitter by the day, walking around the park, building up my fitness and then I was strong enough to walk down to the health centre for treatment.
Everything was going great until I got an infection in one of the wounds, give the nurses credit, they went and got me antibiotics from my doctors downstairs. I cannot thank them enough for their care and attention to cover all guides to ensure the wounds were healing properly.
Now I don't know what to do, they were more like family to me, making me feel welcome and at ease, hats off to them all nurse and students, I'll be forever indebted to them for the care and consideration they put into their work to help me through the rough times as well as the good times.
I'll not apologise for bigging them up, they deserve it all day long
"They were more like family to me"
