Now living in Lincolnshire we had a choice of either Boston or Lincoln, yet on visiting both we decided to go where our first child was born, Kings Mill. The maternity unit is clean, calm, modern and relaxing. The level of staff care far surpasses that of the Lincs hospitals and after talking with others whom laboured at Boston and Lincoln, we are extremely pleased with our decision to go to Kings Mill. The staff were caring and friendly and not a moment went by that we felt alone or neglected either during birth or on the ward afterwards. As ours was a long labour we went through several midwives so I am confident that the high level of care was not down solely to the individual but the whole midwifery team at the birthing unit and on the ward. We highly recommend this hospital's maternity services and again would like to thank the staff there for a happy and pleasant stay,both before, during and after labour.
