I recently fell in a local supermarket car park. One minute I was walking and then found myself on the ground, moaning quietly to myself and bleeding profusely. A kind lady helped and called an ambulance.
The ambulance arrived within 10/15 minutes and with care and efficiency whisked me off to Wishaw General A&E. One of the paramedics went into A&E to arrange for me to be seen as soon as possible and 10 minutes later I am sitting in cubicle 5 - my home for the next couple of hours
I was cared for wonderfully by the nurses, the student doctor and the doctor. I was told I had hit an artery as I continued bleeding. Sent for an X-ray. No cracked or broken bones.
They even fed me which was lovely. Four stitches later, one white over shirt not coming back from this comment 😀, an offer of a painkiller and I was on my way.
I cannot praise the help, care and assistance I received highly enough
"The great way I was looked after"
