"The care of my critically ill dad"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / High Dependency Unit & Intensive Care Unit

(as a relative),

My dad recently came into the Emergency Department critically unwell and septic. I truly believe if it wasn’t for the quick assessment of my Dad and then onward referral  to the Critical Care team he wouldn’t be with us today.

The skilled Critical Care team were so accommodating to my family and kept us updated and informed in a very difficult time.

As an NHS nurse I am forever grateful and proud of the NHS team.
