"Excellent Care"

About: Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as a relative),

My Mum was admitted with a triple ankle fracture and her main place of stay was ENT. The staff clearly had a good rapport with each other and made her laugh even in times of pain. A nurse recognised I was worried as she developed Pneumonia and phoned me that night to assure me she was settled. The staff went above and beyond to help her including domestic staff and Karen and Hazel- Physiotherapists. All staff are a credit to the department and NHS. Thank you for your care and best wishes.

Dear Travellertj94,

It is heart-warming to hear about the compassionate care your mum received. It is particularly touching to hear about the nurse who recognized your worries and took the time to call and reassure you about your mum's condition. This level of attention and empathy is a testament to the dedication of the staff.

Your kind words about the staff being a credit to the department and NHS are well-deserved. Thank you for acknowledging our hard work and dedication. Best wishes to your mum for a swift and full recovery.
